Tenant would like to install a chair lift

Hi. My name is Tim I just purchased a 3 family in Ct. one of my tenants would like to install a chair lift to accommodate an elderly relative who is not on the lease. Any thoughts on issues or concerns. I told them all costs would be theirs and any liability and insurance would also be their responsibility Thanks in advance for any advice. Tim
