Hiring a construction manager

I have around 90 rentals. I am currently running 5 complete remodels.  I'm thinking about hiring a construction foreman that has his own small construction business and is tired of dealing with all the stresses of running it. He has lots of experience and I can totally trust him. I've known him personally for a long time.

My question is what would you pay him if you were me. He would oversee all the remodels and work on some new construction projects I am ready to start. I should be able to do more remodels at a time. I'm just trying to figure out what this position is worth.  For comparison, I pay my full time property manager $750 per week, my full time maintenance guy (who drives my work Truck and uses my tools) $550/week.  Average hourly wage for an ok carpenter ,with maybe a little bit of a rough past, is $12/hr.
