Power of Attorney for out of state closing
Hi Everyone,
I am closing on buying an out of state property next week and I was just curious if anyone has any experience using a power of attorney to sign for them at closing? How do you find an attorney to use at close? I've just been calling law firms in the area and asking for a cost estimate. Not sure if there is a better approach.
Thanks!

@Darsh Patel a Power of Attorney (POA) does not mean that an actually attorney has to sign for you. It can be a family member, friend, etc. All a POA means is that the person has the power to sign for you. You can get the title company to draft the document for you, it will need to be notarized by you and the "party", AND if you are getting financing on this home then you will need to clear this with the lender to make sure they are ok with it. Feel free to ask more questions if you need but I hope this helps!
