Convert yard to parking costs?

Hi- I am looking at a investment property that might be convertible into a 3-4 unit rental property, except the township requires that any additional dwelling requires 2 new parking spaces.

So my question- does anyone have experience converting a large yard into a parking lot?  I think I can get 8 spaces in there.  Any thoughts on costs?

You should first talk to the zoning department to find out if you can do that, some municipalaties have requirement of only s certain a percent of the lot be "impervious" (which means rain water can't go through the surface, so building sqft + sidewalk + pavement). You may have to make it a gravel parking area, so ask the zoning officer about both.
