Qustion about Exterminator Tactics and Safety - Chicago

Hey everyone!

This is my first post on the site (not including my intro.) and I intend to do many more, thanks for your help on this so here it goes...

I recently just had an exterminator come by one of my rentals to do an extermination for mice and potentially rats. Besides setting traps and poison he also sealed holes found along the baseboard and walls. I believe he used polyurethane foam to seal the holes which were typically in corners or by the radiators

From a safety standpoint should I be concerned? Also is this a typical approach for covering holes?

@Jason Treadwell congrats on joining!! Not sure about the foam, look it up online, the rats may or may not be able to eat that. Did he also check the soffits outside? If they seal up everything right away, the rodents have no where to go and die inside your walls or in the attic and then you  hsve a whole other problem
