Huntsville and Decatur, AL Investing

Hi Community,

I'm new to BP and looking forward to getting started in buy & hold investing.  My business partner and I live in the Los Angeles area, and we have identified the Huntsville, AL market as the area we would like to invest in.  We are primarily looking at purchasing fourplexes.  We have a few leads on realtors (always happy for more), and have begun a direct mail campaign.  We're a bit short on contractor and property manager connections.  We'd also love to know your gains and pains of investing in this market to hear how you've been successful. If you live in the area, we'd love your help!

What's in it for you?  Apart from the good BP karma, we'll be in Huntsville at the end of February and happy to at minimum buy you coffee/lunch.  In addition to that, if the fruits of the direct mail work out, we'd be happy to pass along any deals that are either outside of our focus and/or our capacity to close.

Hi @Brent Lowry, welcome to BP.  I am an investor in the Huntsville area.  Huntsville is a great area for buy and hold since the economy is very stable and also there are several college campuses in the area.  Let me know of I can be of any assistance to you!  Good Luck!
