Tenants with emotional support dogs

Hi Investors! Have you had any experience with tenants with well trained emotional support dogs? I have applicant with excellent credit and income and they have trained emotional support dogs. What's your experience with them if you have any tenants with similar situations? Thanks! Lee

Be careful not to discriminate.  You can not charge a pet fee or pet security deposit.  There should be some type of doctors prescription letter the tenant can provide you.  You have the right to verify the authenticity of the letter.  If you don't want them as a tenant then you must find another way to disqualify them.
