How best to inform tenants that property is for sale
Recently, I put one of my 2-unit properties on the market. One of the units is occupied and the other is vacant that I'm currently trying to fill.
Have you had experience informing tenants that you're selling? Do they tend to have concerns about the change in management? Did their behavior change? Do you try to do group showings to minimize bothering your tenants? Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I tell the tenants, and tell them not to worry about it being sold, that the new owner will want them to stay.
Also on a multi-unit, if one unit is vacant...it is customary to only show the vacant unit, and the other occupied units are only viewable when the property is under contract.
