Can a tenant be asked to leave when purchasing a property
Let's assume I found a four-plex that I wanted to purchase and live in one of the 4 units. Can something be done if it turns out that the 4 units are presently being rented out? This has to do with me wanting to know a property that's fully rented out can only be purchased as an investment property and 20% down or as a owner occupied with potentially as low as 3%.
If something could be done, what would you recommend? Can rents be increased a bit and see if one of the 4 tenants decides to move out?
Just wanted the community's opinion.
