Rent in advance, in installments

I just bought a duplex and got a renter for the other side. My new tenant is asking to pay his rent in advance, in installments, before it is due. He says it's easier for his budgeting.

I see no problems from my end as long as it is all paid by the due date, and I didn't find any legal problems online.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I make it my policy to not baby sit tenants responsibilities. He is being ridicules suggesting it is easier for his budgeting when in reality he is unnecessarily shifting more responsibility and book keeping to his landlord. Tell him to manage his own money by opening a special rent payment bank account if he lacks the skills to properly manage his money. Rent check will be drawn on it monthly.

A landlord has more important responsibilities than being a tenants financial baby sitter. I do not understand why society has become so lazy.
