Hi,

My tenant is refusing to vacate even after not paying rent for three months. My house is in Denton County in Dallas. I figured out that I can file suite in county court. Any advise on on how proceed with that.

I would be great if anyone would be personally help during this process.

Regards,

Eshu

In Texas, you need to

Deliver the 3 day notice to terminate and deliver by certified mail, tape to the INSIDE of the front door or hand deliver

One the 3 days expire you will need the file in the JP Precinct that the property is located in Collin County

The process should take approx 3 weeks

NEVER EVER let a tenant get 3 months behind again
