Purchasing multi family unit and its rules
I recently looked at a triplex for sale , each unit has 5 bedrooms , the norm is 3 to 4 bedroom units for rent .. The property is a good investment , I could easily rent these 5 beds for the price of a 3 bedroom and have a great return . So question is if there's not a huge market for 5 bedroom , but rent was really competitive with smaller units would that be a plus to my market or a negative ? U would get extra space for same price as smaller unit ... But utilities mite be a tad more for say heating ... Any wise feedback ? I'm a new investor , 1 deal under my belt , bought a 2 bed house for 65,000, put 10 grand into it and rented it out and have 500dollars. Positive cash flow ! Im new and have lots of questions and stuff to learn !! Thank You
