Expired Lease

Hi, I want to ask about tenants rights when lease expires. My parents are living in one family house and their lease expired few months ago. Now the landlord is in process of selling the house so she wants to do open house every Sunday 1-4pm and ordered our parents to step our during that time. My parents have been cooperating until now for few weeks of showing here and there, but now they are fed up based on the landlord's indifference to our parents' convenience. The landlord was giving one day notices of showing and told them about the weekly open house. So I assume my parents might not have much power other than saying that they can move out. Is there any rights of any kind? The landlord is a real estate agent and smartly put addendum to the lease saying the tenants will cooperate in reasonable notice for showing. Also the lease says after the lease expires, she can gain access to the house at anytime. Thanks all.
