Renters Growing Pot
Hello,
I have a rental property with a full walkout basement. Recently we conducted an inspection of the property and discovered my renters were growing pot in the basement. It was a professional setup. I stopped the operation and the renters are moving out of the house. I have questions concerning any items that I should be aware of moving forward. Should I have the house inspected to ensure that there is not any residue, smell, mold, etc that may be due to the pot being grown in the basement? Are there any remediation concerns? Is there any liability on my end with future tenants that I should be aware of? etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
