Where to find the rental data?

Hi BP members,

I am new to REI and learning to buy rental property in 2017. I would like to find out where can I find the rental that has already rented out in the particular location? My target area is Hampton road, VA area. I can see the rental houses currently on the market but I could not find the rent that has already rented out. Please kindly advice.
