Neighbor started a business with landlords approval, sanitary?

My Landlord let my housemate open a hair cutting business on our joined front porch. I feel this is very unsanitary and I should be able to vacate out of my lease. Am I legally able to do so? How can I fight this? The business is not registered with the city and has no license.
