Renting to voucher recipients in DC - experience?

I'm looking for people who have experience renting to voucher program recipients in DC. I got an email inquiring and, unfortunately, this person is one of few who have expressed interest since we posted the house 2 weeks ago. I don't want to get desperate, but I have heard there are benefits due to the guaranteed rent. I will definitely do some research but I thought it would be worth posting this simultaneously as we want to be sure we are gathering as much info as possible. I would love to hear about any positives and negatives for folks who have gone this route.

Thank you!

(The person asked if we 'consider' tenants under the voucher program and said the following:

So the voucher works like this.

You and I fill out forms Called a lease up packet. This packet is not a lease but it means you're willing to rent to me. we both attach applicable supporting documents to it such as ...a voided check so housing can directly deposit my rent into your account same date every first of the month. Also documents such as a copy of your deed to show that you're the owner and they're sending rent to the right person and not a scammer or squatter. I then return the packet to housing they set up an inspection date to inspect your unit to make sure it's free of chipping paint, smoke detectors works etc. Just safety precautions. Inside the lease up packet is a checklist of what they look for so You'll have a heads up. Pretty normal safety stuff. Once the unit is inspected and pass they'll send your rent via direct deposit and I move in. You'll never have to worry about late rent etc. It's deposit into your account every month same day no sweat. However the sooner the better. So if you're tenants move out September's end. Then I'll turn in lease up packet once they move out because you can get an inspection date immediately sometimes and the property must be vacant and clean at time of inspection.)
