If you were renting?
If you were renting a property, say 1-3 years, what would be the limitations of the inquiries you could pose or red flags that would concern you?
For example:
Online ratings of a PM company? Do the reviews of a few truly matter or is every situation different?
What flexibility do you have prior to applying and signing a lease with a property walk-through, asking about prior home issues, etc?
Can you object to any wording to get it changed in the contract and what's out of the norm for a PM company to put into a contract?
How can both parties (landlord/tenant) be treated fairly in a deal?
Trying to think through things as I research more about the possibility of getting into the real estate world of things. Thanks to all!
