3 Day pay or quit

I served a tenant with a 3 day pay or quit notification and a 20 day quit notification today. He met up with me to pay his overdue rent ($1295). He delivered it in a plastic bag in mostly $1 bills. Frustrated I counted it and came up $58 short. I didn't accept any of his payment and told him to nofiy me to pay when he is ready. I am not looking forward to counting that money again, but know I have to accept his payment in full. Is there a way that I can force him to pay into my bank account through either Chase quick pay or something similar? Or, do I have to count all of those ones again? Also I am preparing for him to make it as difficult as possible for me to collect, ie late night notification or the like. What can I do to prevent this?
