Finally got my first tenant lease signed. He signed on Thursday night. I advised that he needs to get the power placed into his name within 2 days. Well... I called the power company and they told me that they actually had to turn it off in the field which they couldn't get there until Friday which was the day he moved in. He then called the power company to turn it back on in his name and they told him that they couldn't get it turned on until Tuesday (the day after Labor Day). I advised home to call back the power company and speak to a manager and that unfortunately it's out of my control. Anyone have advice on hot to make this a smoother transition next time? Is there something else I should have done? George
