Collecting deposit long distance

Any recommendations on how to collect a deposit from an out of state renter?

Given timing/convienience I'm thinking an electronic system would be best.  However, Cozy and the other systems seem set up for rent collection, not initial deposit.

Hi @John Vietmeyer, I use cozy but have a local agency place the renters so I haven't done it through their system but it says you can do it in this FAQ (see step 8). If you have local agents screening and placing tenants they can mail you the check, or I would think paypal could work if the tenants use it.
