Baltimore Rent court // New Rules Water Bills
Good evening guys I have a question.
I saw a few months ago a new law was set to go in to effect in Baltimore City (Senate bill 801 House bill 0796)that would keep landlords from adding the water bill to rent when in rent court and it is in your lease. A friend of mine is telling me this new law is in effect as of now.
I am getting ready to move a new tenant in to a unit and would like to know before I get the lease together. I saw a thread a few months back stated doing your lease on a month to month basis to go around this. Can I get some help and suggestions from anyone who is familiar with this.
Thanks in advance
