@Yvette May, just curious if you're considering buying the property, why not ask the current owner? A tenant who doesn't know you is not going to hand over a document that has personal information in it. Ask the landlord to produce it as part of your due diligence as well as payment records, record of any 3 day notices issued, ect. If you have doubts to ownership of the property or want to know tax billing address, your agent can find this easily by accessing Realist tax information pull down menu on MLS. Other items I'd request from the owner would be utility bills for last 12 months and a CLUE report to ensure no claims were made on property in last 7 years.
