Using wholesalers for buy and hold real estate.

Good evening everyone,

Does anyone use wholesalers as a viable option for buy and hold real estate? I want to use the Buy, Rehab, Rent, & Refi. strategy for my next property. Seems like you are trading money for time when you use a wholesaler to acquire RE. Any flaws that I could be over looking? Any Advice? Thanks for taking the time to read and your responses our appreciated!

It's not viable. They are dishonest scumbags who will suck up a lot of your time for no return.
