Florida vacation rental historical behavior

Hello. Brand new to Bigger Pockets so I hope I am doing this correctly. I have a question for Saint Petersburg/ Clearwater vacation condo owners about rental history.

My parents just bought a 2 bed 2 bath intercoastal condo directly across the street from the Gulf in Indian Shores Florida for $240k to use as an income generating property. The units in the building currently rent for $800 a week low season and jump to $1800- $2250 a week during high season/peak dates. We investigated before they purchased and the management company representing that unit was only able to provide the rental history for the last two years which were successful. It booked most days, every month. However, we could not find any information on how it rented during the recession.

Could any condominium owners in that area please share with me how their unit rented during the last world wide recession back in 2010-2013?  Very fearful after all of the Brexit news this week. Thank you.
