Tenant Deposits to Checking Account

Does anyone see any issues with tenants paying rent by making a deposit into my checking account at any of my local bank branches? I having been doing it for years with no issues, but I wonder if it is not a good idea to give out my checking account number to tenants.  I figure that we give out our checking account number anytime we write a check.

btw your checking account number and routing number is at the bottom of every check you write. So every vendor you have paid or ex tenant you have returned security to has your checking account number.
