Best Way to Rent Short Term and Not Overpay

Hello Bigger Pockets,

My Wife and I are in a situation where we are currently looking for a place to stay in the Cincinnati area for 6-8 weeks starting in the middle of July.  Does anyone know of some creative ways to get in on a furnished apartment for a short time like this and not pay an arm and a leg?  We've looked at Air BnB but there is not much selection on there for Cincy and the ones that are on there are either too expensive or in not so great neighborhoods.  If anyone knows of a place in Cincinnati to rent for a couple of months or can help us out with another way to go about searching, it is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael
