Property Manager presenting as a landlord

Hello,

I am new to the site and the forum. I own some properties in Detroit and its suburbs.

The realtor who helped us buy these properties is now our property manager as well.

My husband and I are still sorting out a system with him. In the lease contract for tenants, he (property manager) presents his company as 'landlord' instead of a property management company. Is this how property management companies refer to themselves in lease contract?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
