Single Story Rentals vs 2 story Rentals (Homes)

I am new to the board and thinking about purchasing a single story 3br /2 bath ranch home for rental.

I have a couple of 2 story rentals that  do well but I was just curious to know if  single story homes seem to be harder to rent out vs 2 story homes.  For experienced landlords, what has been your experience?

Do you find that you have to offer cheaper rent to get them rented if next to other other 2 story homes  of similar  square footage ?
