Two families in my SRF

Hello all this my first blog. I have gotten a lot out from reviewing blogs that answer many of my questions so I thank you for that. Here is my Question. My home in California in the east bay, it is a two story 4BR 2.5BA home. My current tenants are at the end of their lease and chose to leave after I increased the rent for the new lease. The rent rate was under priced but they still chose to leave at the end of the month. They came back to me saying that they can stay with the new rent but her sister and family will now be renting with her. So there will be a total of nine in the house hold. Has anyone came across this situation? Increase the rent even more? I would like to know. Thanks!
