LOTS OF LOOKERS, NO TAKERS

I don’t get it. The house we have for rent is a beautiful two story, brick, four bedroom wood floors colonial with fireplaces, spa tub, etc. We have many people seeing it and there are frequent calls. Usually the female will exclaim how much she “loves†the house. The males agree that the home is well made and maintained. I think many of the people are just curious to see how the house looks inside because for five months we have not had any one want to sign the lease. Several people have paid for the credit check, but when we call to say they are approved we never hear back.

We have lowered the price to just above what apartments are going for. How do you all limit the gawkers who are just curious? I do the best I can to filter them out over the phone but I don’t want to miss an opportunity either.
