How to structure a partnership in Property Management

I am a general contractor, and I have developed a few relationships that will provide me with the opportunity to begin investing in Real Estate. So my question is one of my connections is building a property management company, he has multiple propertys of his own and multiple properties he is managing for others. He wants me to work with him and manage these properties. Does anyone have any tips on how we can structure a deal in which he owns the business and I manage the properties?
