Planning to travel abroad soon and thinking of better solutions for property management opposed to paying a firm 8-10% and eating into cashflow. My current plan is to hire a virtual assistant or remote executive assistant. Brickwork is a reputable firm from India. This way I could have initial web meeting or email remote assistant my list of contractors that will correlate with each situation. Tenant would have choice to email any issue that may occur, or call the firm directly (last option). And yes, I've been reading "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss.. Dude is efficient. Remote assistant would then ensure the issue is resolved, log expenses for bookkeeping and records. Then email the report to me. Basically manage the properties hourly as needed opposed to lump sum every month. Has anyone attempted this style of property management? Nate Barbee
