Stainless Steel Appliances?

Stainless steel appliances? Newly renovated triplex. I have dark walnut porcelain tile floors, expresso cabinets, pendant lights, light granite counters, white walls. A couple people have offered their opinion that I should spend the extra $$ to get stainless steel appliances because of my color scheme. I am trying to get top of the market rent for these newly renovated triplex units that are 2/1. However, I've heard that SS is too hard to keep clean and too easy to scratch and dent, that tenants don't take care of them. Normally I would save money by buying used appliances in nice condition, not new SS appliances. Thoughts?
