Hello Bigger Pockets community! I recently started real estate investing and bought my first rental property in Beverly Hills, Michigan. I just signed the contract this week. Could you guys tell me what are some of the best practices for efficiently running a rental property? Also welcome any other tips and/or things to watch out for. Thank you!

Beverly HIlls Michigan!  I love that.

Go to amazon and get the book, Landlording on Auto-Pilot.

That book has pretty much everything you need.

I will leave you with these two bits of advice

1) Dont tell tenants you are the owner.  They will walk all over you.  Tell them you work for the owner and they are real jerks!

2) All tenants lie

Good luck!
