The home Im renting is in foreclosure because of my Landlord and know he no longer owns the property. I had a security deposit of 1,162.50 but the managing company told me that they would no longer be managing his property after December and they had to turn my security deposit over to him cause he still owned the property even tho it was in foreclosure. So the landlord still has it and I don't believe he's going to return that to me. January through March I have been saving the money in reserves. Now there is a new owner and they would like me to pay rent. I'm moving out to buy a home so I told them I need 60 days to leave the property. And they want rent. My lease was 18 months. June of this year would of been when the contract expires so as a tenet what are my options?
