Hello Lexington BP Friends:

I have a couple of good leads and I believe I am getting closer to buying my first rental. I would need a property management company to run my properties for me and I would like to start researching about them. Does anybody know how they work? And can you recommend one in the Lexington Area. Thanks in advance.

I use Expert Property Management, Lisa Peel. They do as much or as little as you like. They charge 9%, and there is a discount on the up front costs if you have multiple properties. For me they take the maintenance calls, collect the rent, advertise for an upcoming vacancy, and deposit my funds in my bank account.
