Roommate Closed My Utility Accounts Without My Permission

I'm renting a commercial loft with two other co-tenants. We all have separate leases with the landlord. Under the other two tenants' leases, they are to pay me utilities. They each gave me a deposit. One of the tenants has been trying to get me kicked out so they can take over my space. They recently closed my account with the gas company and opened another account in their name. They have been trying to do the same with the power bill, but have yet to do so. Is this legal?
