PEOPLE WHO RENT - ANSWER HERE!

What do you find most important for an apartment to have? This could be a feature, type of flooring, style of kitchen, paint colors, etc. 

I ask because I am about to rehab two units before I rent out and want to know what is most appealing to the renter's eye!

Any input would be much appreciated!!

I own rentals, but also rent myself (because I want to be in the Seattle core). As a renter, I can't be picky, but my favorite things are hardwood floors, a washer and dryer (must have), and a dishwasher. Do only neutral paint colors, just go with a standard warm white. You also need to pick finishes that are durable and not too expensive, and easy to rehab/repaint/refresh between tenants. It all depends on your area, check to see what your competition looks like.
