National Property Management Firm

Ali Boone wrote a great blog post on the characteristics of a phenomenal property manager. Why isn't there a national property management company that strives to streamline the process to provide great management?

  • Communicates well -- a process where communications are transparent and owners are notified when they should be
  • Saves me money -- team that focuses on repairs and knows to ask the right questions before sending out contractors; another team helping to get preferred service vendor contracts (with savings passed to owner)
  • Proactive / inspections --  annual inspection protocols, lease renewals up-front, etc.
  • Statements -- easy to understand

I see large property management firms across certain geographies, but I haven't seen the Coldwell Banker or Berkshire Hathaway of property management appear.
