Can i kick out tenants before closing? (Greensboro, NC)

Hey guys,

I have a duplex that I put under contract today. I want to get both tenants out as fast as possible because i plan on living in the top unit and remodeling the bottom unit a bit as well as getting a tenant of my choice in there. Both tenants are on month to month leases. Is there any creative ways to get these tenants out as fast as possible before closing?

Talk about cut throat. They are human beings, probably with families. You mean you can't serve them notice and wait 30 days????
