Do you let your tenant know you're the landlord?

Hello Bigger Pockets Community!

I recall someone mentioning on one of the podcasts that they actually do not let their tenants know they are the landlord of the property. Instead they act as they are a property manager. Besides the fact you can tell them "I'll have to ask the owner" when it comes to tough questions, what are some of the advantages of that?
