Helping a friend on DSS

Hi,

I'm looking for the best way to help my friend.

She's on DSS (disability) and she has no income other than that. She's been trying to rent a place for the past few months, but is finding it impossible. Half of the estate agents pulls off the moment you mention DSS, and the other half has super detailed applications where they demand a minimum income that she can't reach. What can she or I do to have this sorted? Surely there's a way out of this situation?

(PS I'm fronting her deposit, so at least that issue is sorted)

Help?
