Furnace/Mechanical tags

2 of my units are heated with Nat. gas fired steam. we do not have the auto feeder so tenants are responsible to check the level of the water in the site glass and fill accordingly.

Yesterday I received a text stating a tenant did not have heat. allegedly the pipes were banging but no heat was produced so they shut the thermostat off.   I offered to bring her a space heater till I could call my furnace guy.

When I got there I found that someone had overfilled the furnace. it happens about once per tenant. I drained the system and tested everything is good now but I'd like to tag all the valves in the basement.

Does anyone here currently tag their mechanical?  do you buy tags? have custom tags?  I can make some but I was curious if there are some out there I can just print and hang?   Would you use tags or labels (both)?

I was there about 1.5 hours would you charge for your time?

Thanks
