Question: How many showings equate to applicants

I'm a new landlord and I'm wondering how showings equate to applicants, i.e. 100 showings equal 35 applicants. I'm just trying to gauge the interest versus actual applications that will be submitted. Anyone have a generic equation or rule of thumb? Thanks in advance for your input. Henry
