Property Management Fees?

Hi all! Interested in investing out of state and looking to get a 2-4 multi-family unit. What would typical property management fees run me? Trying to figure out how much the fees would take away from monthly rent income.

In a 2-4 unit you're typically going to be looking at 10% of gross rents. Each PM company is different though, so you need to make sure you understand how they operate and structure their rates. I know some companies that will scale the rates as you get more and more properties under their management.
