Cincinnati: Can I represent my LLC for an eviction?
Can I represent my LLC when evicting a resident in Hamilton County, Ohio?
Thanks for your help.

Never practiced in those courts but I imagine my experience will translate. No, you cannot do so. In court, a party may represent himself or hire a member of the Ohio bar to serve as his attorney. As the LLC doesn't exist in the flesh, it can't walk into court and represent itself. It's only option is to hire a licensed attorney to represent it. This is true even if you're the sole owner of the LLC. Unless you're a licensed attorney you won't be allowed to represent the company. You can, however, testify as an officer or agent of the company but you will need an attorney to represent you.
