2-bed duplex with undesirable floor plan in Milwaukee
Milwaukee landlords, I'm wondering what you think of a 2/2 duplex I saw with what I think is an undesirable floor plan.
The typical 2-bed duplex in Milwaukee I am used to seeing it with a hallway with a bedroom at each end, and a bathroom in the middle.
But this particular duplex has the following layout - one bedroom off the LR, which is fine. But then the 2nd bedroom (and its quite small) is off the back of the kitchen. And even worse the bathroom is accessed from a door directly from the kitchen as well.
I think this configuration will make it compare poorly with competing 2-bed units. So my hunch is I'd have to charge say just $570 compared to say $650 for a typical 2-bed. But I'm curious what fellow BP'ers in SE WI think.

We have some like that. Hasn't affected what we get monthly. Personally not being from Milwaukee, I tend to think almost every floor plan i see there is weird :) and I still have trouble accepting them when I walk through the houses but in the end. They all rent the same.
If there is a way to make the access to the bathroom off the other wall and close up the kitchen access I might do that but in our experience, especially at that price point, they don't care.
