I have a person who has a autistic child 12yrs. She a single mother has child support Ssd for her and child. She will have trust fund once she sells her mothers house of100k. Paid out monthly. She does not have section 8 as in not looking for tenants with section 8. Should I stay away from this kind of tenant?

@Arthur D. before you make a decision please be sure to read the Fair Housing Laws you cannot deny applicants because of because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability and the presence of children. You can deny them if they don't meet the income guidelines for the rental.

If the potential tenants feel that their rights have been violated they can file a Housing Discrimination form against you. So the best thing I can tell you is to be informed and educate yourself and make the right decision based on facts.

Good Luck
