Converting Pasture to Ag Land
My understanding is that rent income is higher on farmland (particularly corn) than on pasture land for grazing cattle. Any advice on the best way to go about converting grazing land to suitable ag land? Controlled burns followed by plowing everything under? Chemicals? Any suggestions or resources would be appreciated.
